Deb has been making jewellery on and off since her teens. She rediscovered her love of jewellery making in 2007 when she had the opportunity to work in a nearby bead store. Being in the presence of beads, gemstones and metals on a daily basis encouraged he to experiment with the many ways of creating jewellery. She has worked with metal clays; PMC, Art Clay and Hadar Clay)silver, bronze, copper and steel), creating mini works of art jewellery. Deb has a fascination with wire and sheet metals in silver and copper, often paired with leather , as she continues to experiment with using reclaimed/salvaged materials. She seldom duplicates any of her designs; even if re-created, the had-made process prevents an exact copy from being produced. Creating custom jewellery gives her the opportunity to interact with her clients and create truly unique pieces.
