My Art Journey started at eighty. I was always a lover of the art world but didn’t dare to try. My husband Bill was the one who encouraged me.
First, I joined the art class at the Hobby Shop in Smiths Falls. Then I took two classes at St. Lawrence College, one in Brockville and the other in Smiths Falls. I then joined the Silver Brushes at Amy Blair’s in what was then Davidson’s Courtyard. We now meet at Modern Thymes on Russell Street. I am also a member of the Rideau Lakes Artists’ Association.
I really enjoy my Art Life which started 10 years later than Grandma Moses started her career. I also enjoy all the wonderful art people who are now in my life. I currently show my art in several locations in the Smiths Falls area.
